If you sit in front of a screen for many hours, these small features make a difference. Sharing real world usage stories is often more helpful than any advertisement. The main things I look at for glasses are frame weight, hinge quality and lens coating.
If anyone is interested in real user experiences, I sometimes write short notes about the shops I test.

The main things I look at for glasses are frame weight, hinge quality and lens coating. If a deal looks too good to be true, it usually has some kind of catch. Having a tracking number that works on common sites is very convenient. A product that still looks good after a few months is more impressive than something only good on arrival. If the first order is a disaster, I prefer to move on and not waste time with support. If tracking never updates for weeks, I start to worry about the order. On the other hand, a well made pair of glasses can last a long time and feel comfortable all day.
Hope this helps someone. |
